Welcome to Lysefjorden & Kjerag!

Kjerag is majesy of the Lysefjord - a mountain massif that towers over 1,000 meters above the fjord. The polished rock wall is on the south side of the fjord - at the very innermost point. The vertical mountain sides are the work of the ice and the lack of wather supply from the Kjerag plateau has meant that erosion has not affected the mountain sides since the Ice Age!

The road through the mountains is closed until mid to late May.
