ABOUT KJERAG

A short story

Lysebotn is a small village deep in the Lysefjord in Forsand in Rogaland. A few decades ago, a vibrant and active community where the jobs were mostly related to the operation of the power plant.

There were both a school and a shop in the village. After the operation of the plant for a large part was automated and remote, the village experienced a sharp reduction in business and population. BUT - when enthusiasts started base jumping, sky diving and eventually made the place known internationally, the tourists from all corners of the world found their way to the little place. And they discover that Lysebotn has so much more to offer than adrenaline for those who just throw out from 1,000 meters in Kjerag or engaged in mountain climbing in the steep mountain sides.
